Ich habe zufällige Kleckse in kontrastierenden Farben mit Pinseln unterschiedlicher Grösse hinzugefügt, um das Muster zu variieren. Ich habe auch meine Finger benutzt, um einige Kleckse zu machen, und habe auch Farbe geschnippt.

Wenn Ihr Meisterwerk fertig ist, ist es an der Zeit, die Sache zu versiegeln. Tragen Sie eine dünne Schicht Annie Sloan Wax mit einem weichen, fusselfreien Tuch auf, um die Farbe zu schützen und ihre Langlebigkeit zu erhöhen.

First things first, give your Birkenstocks a thorough cleaning.(I may or may not have cleaned mine, most often I don't prep ). Use gentle soap and water to remove any dirt, grime, or residue from the surface. Allow them to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Protect the footbed of your Birks by covering them with cling wrap.This will prevent any accidental paint spills or smudges from ruining the comfort of your sandals. Alternatively you could use paper or fabric.I just liked the way I could mould the cling wrap around the foot bed.

Next, undo the buckle and remove any straps or accessories that may interfere with your painting process.I had already started painting mine before I realised it was easier to open before hand. This will ensure that you have a smooth and even surface to work with.

"Now comes the fun part – painting! Choose your favourite colours and get creative with patterns and designs.I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint . Chalk paint is so amazing, its very easy to use and sticks to just about any surface.I wanted mine to look like I'd been wearing them whilst painting and that they had been splattered.I added random blobs of contrasting colours using different size brushes to variation to the pattern.I also used my fingers to make some blobs and flicked paint as well.

Once your masterpiece is complete, it's time to seal the deal. Apply a thin layer of Annie Sloan Wax using a soft lint free cloth to protect the paint and enhance its longevity.
